The new AUDI Repair Manuals presented here should provide real assistance to the driver in any difficult situation on the road or in the garage, which concerns the operation, maintenance, diagnostics and repair of these machines.

Immediately attracts the attention of an impressive number of manuals. Indeed, the authors of the manual provided all the issues and tasks that a user may face, provided a lot of useful information, including an informative application, recommendations from the person of experienced masters and data on compliance with safety procedures in the application process with the machine.

If the machine needs repair or adjustment of its electronic component, then the master or motorist will again need to pick up one of these manuals, because they have all the electrical circuits AUDI. Certainly, the establishment of the cause of the problem that has arisen and the subsequent repair requires certain knowledge and skills, especially if it is an amateur who wants to solve such problems on his own, without wasting his time and money to contact the car service center. Such an approach is worthy of approval, but it is necessary to have this handbook handy for the diagnosis and repair, as well as assembly, disassembly, lubrication, adjustment or replacement of the machine elements. In it, all the procedures are presented in stages and clearly, are provided with the necessary footnotes and comments. Thus, the book professionally describes all types of work that may be required by the engine or brake system, steering or running gear, as well as bodywork, headlights, wheels, tires and all other components of the car.

The manuals are intended for Audi car owners, mechanics, workshop personnel and repair shops.

Audi Engine Fault Codes

Audi Engine Fault Codes

Deciphering of Audi engine fault codes

Audi Fault codes list

Audi Logo

Audi cars are equipped mainly with Bosch control systems, including: Bosch Motronic versions 2.3.2, 2.4, 3.2 and 3.8.2, Mono-Jetronic, Mono-Motronic 1.1 and 1.2, KE-Motronic 1.1 and 1.2, KE- 3 Jetronic, Simos, VAG Digifant, VAG MPi and VAG MPFi. All systems control the primary circuit of the ignition system, the fuel injectors and the idling system from one control module. The exception is Mono-Jetronic and KE-3 Jetronic, which control the fuel supply and idling separately.

Engine control systems have a self-diagnostic function that continuously analyzes the signals of the sensors and actuators of the engine and compares them with the reference values. If the diagnostic program detects a mismatch, one or more corresponding fault codes are recorded in the electronic control unit (ECU) memory. Fault codes will not appear in cases where the defective item is not under the control of the ACM and when a faulty situation is not provided for by its software.

Control systems installed on Audi vehicles can generate fault codes of two types – 4-digit (“flashing“) and 5-digit. In the process of improving Audi cars, the codes and ways of reading them changed. Cars that are currently in operation can be divided into three groups (the point of separation is not always obvious even for the same model).

  1. Some early release systems can only generate 4-character codes that can be retrieved using a warning light on the instrument panel (if one is provided), using an LED or code reader. Such systems include Mono-Jetronic and Mono-Motronic MA 1.2.1.
  2. Later systems can generate both 4- and 5-digit codes. 4-digit codes are read using the warning light (if any) or by means of an LED. A reader is required to extract 5-digit codes. Among these systems are: Bosch Motronic versions 2.3, 2.4 and 2.7, KE-3 Jetronic, KE-Matronic and Mono-Motronic (with the old 45-pin connector BEU).
  3. Even later systems generate only 5-digit fault codes, which can only be retrieved using a reader. Such systems include: Bosch Motronic versions 2.9, 3.2 and 3.8.2, Mono-Motronic MA1.2.2 (with a new 45-pin BEU connector), Simos, VAG Digifant (with 68-pin connector) and VAG MPi and MPFi.

The described Audi systems have a mode of limited controllability (a function known as “limp home” or “crash home”). This means that if some malfunctions occur (not all malfunctions cause this mode to be activated), the engine control system is guided not by the sensor readings, but by its reference value. This mode allows the car to reach the garage or service station for inspection and repair, albeit with less efficiency. After troubleshooting, the system returns to normal operation.

Error reading of Audi cars without special reader

Mono-Jetronic (until July 1988)

  1. Start and warm up the engine to operating temperature. The trouble codes for the oxygen sensor can only appear after a road test of a duration of at least 10 minutes.
  2. Stop the engine and turn on the ignition.
  3. If the engine does not start, rotate it with the starter for at least 6 seconds and leave the ignition on.
  4. Using a fuse, short the test contacts over the fuel pump relay for at least 5 seconds.
  5. Remove the fuse and the fault lamp will flash.
  6. Count the number of flashes in the series and write down the code. To decode its value, refer to the decoding table for the codes.
  7. Each code will be repeated until you insert the fuse again. Insert and after 6 seconds remove the fuse. After that, the following code will blink.
  8. Continue to extract the codes until code 0000 appears, which means that there are no more codes in the BEU memory.
  9. If code 4444 appears at once, it means that no fault codes have been registered.
  10. At the end of the reading procedure, turn off the ignition.

Bosch Mono-Jetronic (after July 198V), KBJetronic. KE-Motranic 1.1 and 1.2, Motronic 2.3 and 2.4

  1. Connect the auxiliary switch to the jacks of the connectors. If the vehicle is not equipped with a fault light on the instrument panel, connect the LED also.
  2. Start and warm up the engine to operating temperature.
  3. Stop the engine and turn on the ignition.
  4. If the engine does not start, rotate it with the starter for at least 6 seconds and leave the ignition on.
  5. Close the auxiliary switch for at least 5 seconds. Open the switch and the LED or warning light will start transmitting fault codes, which are to be understood as follows.
  6. Four numbers are indicated by four series of flashes.
    • The first series of flashes means the first digit, the second series – the second digit, etc. up to the fourth.
    • Each series consists of several flashes lasting 1 or 3 seconds with short gaps between them. The numbers from 1 to 9 are indicated by 1-second flashes, and zero is indicated by a two-second flare.
    • One series from the other is separated by a pause of 3.5 seconds.
    • Code 1231 is reproduced as follows: one 1-second flash, a short pause, two 1-second flashes, a short pause, three 1-second flashes, a short pause, one 1-second flash. The ambassador’s postponement is 3.5 seconds and the code will be repeated.
  7. Count the number of flashes in the series and write down the code. To decode its value, refer to the decoding table for the codes.
  8. Each code will be repeated until you insert the fuse again. Insert and after 6 seconds remove the fuse. After that, the following code will blink.
  9. Continue to extract the codes until code 0000 appears, which means that there are no more codes in the BEU memory.
  10. If code 4444 appears at once, it means that no fault codes have been registered.
  11. At the end of the reading procedure, turn off the ignition and disconnect the LED and switch.

Bosch Mono-Motronic (35-pin version of the connector BEU 1.2.1 and 45-pin version 1.2.2)

  1. Connect the auxiliary switch to the diagnostic sockets. If the vehicle is not equipped with a fault light on the instrument panel, connect also the LED between the (+) power supply and pin 33 of the BEU connector (for the 35-pin connector) or pin 3 (for the 45-pin connector). It will be necessary to detach the rear of the ECU connector to get to the correct pin without disconnecting the connector.
  2. Start and warm up the engine to operating temperature. The trouble codes for the oxygen sensor can only appear after a road test of a duration of at least 10 minutes.
    • Four numbers are indicated by four series of flashes.
    • The first series of flashes means the first digit, the second series – the second digit, etc. up to the fourth.
    • Each series consists of several flashes lasting 1 or 2 seconds with short gaps between them. The numbers from 1 to 9 are indicated by 1-second flashes, and zero is indicated by a two-second flare.
    • One series from the other is separated by a pause of 2.5 seconds.
    • Code 1231 is reproduced as follows: one 1-second flash, a short pause, two 1-second flashes, a short pause, three 1-second flashes, a short pause, one 1-second flash. After 2.5 seconds, the code will be repeated.
  6. Count the number of flashes in the series and write down the code.
  7. Each code will be repeated until you again close the auxiliary switch for at least 5.0 seconds, and then open it. After that, the following code will blink.
  8. Continue to extract the codes until code 0000 appears, which means that there are no more codes in the BEU memory.
  9. If code 4444 appears at once, it means that no fault codes have been registered.
  10. At the end of the reading procedure, turn off the ignition and disconnect the LED and switch.
  11. Systems with a 16-pin on-board diagnostics connector or a 64-pin BEU connector – “Flashing” codes are not provided. It is necessary to use the code reader.

Removing the code from memory without the assistance of the reader

Bosch Mono-Jetronic, Mono-Motronic, KE-Jetronic and KE-Motronic

  1. To extract the codes, use the procedure described above.
  2. Turn the ignition off.
  3. Short the test contacts with the fuse over the fuel pump relay (Mono-Jetronic only until July 1988) or short-circuit the auxiliary switch (other systems).
  4. Turn the ignition on.
  5. After 5 seconds, open the switch or remove the fuse. All codes in memory will be erased.
  6. Turn the ignition off.
  7. Turn the ignition off and remove the key. Disconnect the BEU connector for at least 30 seconds.

All systems (alternative method)

  1. Turn the ignition off and disconnect the negative battery cable for about 5 minutes.
  2. Reconnect the wire to the battery. The first drawback of this method is that the BEU will reset all the adapted parameter values to its original state. In order to re-adjust the system to your engine, it will be necessary to start the engine from the hoop condition, and then ride the car at different engine speeds of 20 … 30 minutes. In addition, it is necessary to let the engine idle for about 10 minutes. The second drawback is that you will have to reset the protective code of the radio, the current time and other stored values, which will also be reset when the battery is disconnected. It is best to use the reader to remove the fault codes.

The Audi 90 is a mid-size car produced by the German concern Audi from 1987 to 1991.

Audi 90 completed the lineup of family sedans with improved aerodynamics. The main rivals of the Audi 90 were the Mercedes 200 series and the BMW 5 Series. In general, the Audi 90 was developed on the basis of the second generation 80, which turned out a year earlier and had a very good success. From its four-cylinder predecessor, 90 received a corps. A tougher suspension is standard in only four-wheel drive versions. In addition, these same versions have anti-lock braking system. The aerodynamic resistance of the Audi 90 models has dropped from 0.39 to 0.31, making them very fast. Sedan 90 got a front spoiler, painted in body color. All-wheel drive versions also had a rear spoiler, in line with cast disc wheels and disc brakes.

In Europe, the Audi 80 was a standard model, and after 1984 the appearance of the Audi 90 was a large-scale version of 80 – that is, with more variants: in addition to the turbo diesel that was available for 80, there appeared two 5-cylinder gasoline engines of 2 liters and 115 hp (160 hp), as well as 2.2 l and 120 hp (136 hp), which was later modified in the 2.3-liter.

Audi 200

In almost any description of the Audi 200, you can find the words: “The Audi 200 was a more expensive version of the Audi 100, which was distinguished by a higher level of basic equipment, improved exterior and interior trim, equipped with only five-cylinder engines, including turbocharged ones.” And, of course, all this is true. But to imagine the nature of this now retro car, said is not enough. It’s like that to characterize one of the twins, and about the second to casually mention: “He’s the same, only slightly better.” It’s messy!

The first appearance of the top version has already won a whole army of fans of the Audi 100 model called the Audi 200 falls at the end of 1979. The company’s specialists built this more comfortable and powerful model than the prototype, using the C2 platform (43 body index). But unlike the “hundred”, Audi 200 in this generation did not appear in the body of the “station wagon”. This happened later, when Audi offered in 1983, for the already tested 100 and 200 models, an entirely new C3 body – a huge, comfortable and at the same time having good aerodynamic performance (the drag coefficient was only 0.3) and aesthetic appearance .

In addition, cars Audi 200 1983 model year are economical, which was the result of the engineers of the company to improve the already used engines and the introduction of new ones. It should be noted that since 1985 all Audi 200 bodies (however, like the Audi 100) have been produced in galvanized, which allows these models to run along Russian roads. Corrosion in them is minimal. The Audi 200 on the C3 platform was produced as a four-door sedan and station wagon – the Audi 200 Avant – until 1988. The body index is 44.

1988 was significant for the Audi 200. The “appearance” of the model has changed. She received flat door handles, the boot lock was placed in the tail lamp, a new front panel in the car’s interior and an improved door lining made the already quite comfortable interior even more cozy and modern.

And in 1990, all the modifications of the “200” got wider front and rear wings. But … on this “life” of the legendary model called Audi 200 is over. The developers decided that there was no need to divide the lineup of the Audi 100 into “expensive” and “cheap”, so the car with that name disappeared from the model range of the German company.

Audi A3

The Audi A3 is a compact hatchback car, a wagon (from 2012) and a sedan (from 2013) manufactured by Audi from the 1996 Volkswagen Group.

Audi A3 8L (1996-2006)

Audi A3 8L PDF Manuals

Audi A3 8L

The history of the Audi A3 model dates back to 1996, when the three-door hatchback came out on the European market. The ideological heir to the 1974 Audi 50 was based on the PQ34 platform with McPherson ramps in front, but unlike the one-summer Golf of those years, the Audi A3 received a multi-purpose suspension in the back instead of a torsion bar. The length of the body (stylist – Peter Scheer) was 4152 mm, width – 1735, wheelbase – 2513. In 1999, the five-door hatchback appeared under the name of A3 Sportback. On the A3 were put petrol motors 1.6 (101-102 hp, 145-148 Nm), 1.8 (125 forces, 170 Nm), 1.8 Turbo (150-180 forces, 210-235 Nm), and also an eight-valve turbodiesel 1.9 TDI (90-130 hp, 210-310 Nm).

Among the versions were both front-wheel drive and drive on both axles, as with “mechanics” (five or six steps), and with “automatic” (four or five ranges). At the top was a four-wheel drive S3 supercharged “quad” 1.8, which initially produced 210 power and 270 Nm, and after restyling – 225 and 280, respectively. Acceleration to 100 km / h depending on the efficiency of the motor lasted from 6.8 to 6.6 seconds. The Audi A3 model featured six airbags, a stabilization system, two-zone climate control, xenon headlights, cast discs up to 17 inches in diameter, combined or fully leather upholstery seats.

Audi A3 was restored in 2000.

The production in Ingolstadt (Germany) ended in 2003, but in Curitiba (Brazil) the release lasted until 2006 (from the year 2000). The total circulation is 880,000 cars.

Audi A3 8P (2003-2012)

Audi A3 8P PDF manuals

Audi A3 8P

The second generation car, whose length has increased to 4215 mm, and the distance between the axles reached 2578 mm, was seriously focused on increasing sales. From 2003 to 2012, more than 900,000 Audi A3 cars were collected.

One of the reasons is the widest choice of modifications. The three-door and five-door hatchback was added to the cabriolet (in 2008), the sports version of the S3 could be with both three and five doors, and at the end of the release, the RS3 was released with a 340-strong turbo engine with five cylinders (up to one hundred – for 4.6 seconds). On the ordinary, the A3 puts eight gasoline engines (atmospheric or inflatable, 102-250 hp and 148-320 Nm) and three turbodiesel (90-170 hp, 230-350 Nm). Option S3 was completed with a 265-horsepower 2.0 TFSI engine (350 Nm). The choice of gearboxes was limited to two types of “mechanics” (five or six steps), two types of “work” S tronic (six or seven gears) and a six-band “automatic machine.” For nine years, the Audi A3 came down from a factory conveyor in Germany, Belgium, Hungary, and Indonesia.

Restyling took place in 2005 and 2008.

Audi A3 8V (from 2012)

Audi A3 8V PDF manuals

Audi A3 8V

The third-generation premiere of the Audi A3 family took place on March 6, 2012 at the Geneva Motor Show as a three-door hatchback. The production of a three-door car began in May 2012, sales started on August 24, 2012.

At the Paris Motor Show in 2012, the sports version of the Audi S3 and the five-door hatchback wagon Audi A3 Sportback are presented, sales of the latter started February 15, 2013. On March 27, 2013, the A3 was introduced into the sedan body, sales of which began at the end of May 2013. At the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 2013, the A3 is presented in the cabriolet body.

The Audi A3 comes with three engines to choose from. Petrol engines are two – 1.4 TFSI (122 hp, 200 Nm) and 1.8 TFSI (180 hp, 250 Nm), equipped with direct fuel injection. Of the diesels, only 2.0 TDI is presented, which produces 150 power and 320 newton-meters. Also, the first time the seven-band robotic gearbox S tronic with two clutches received only a 180-strong version (standard equipment), while other models received a six-speed manual transmission. But later it will expand the range of modifications with ACPP, as well as new engines (including 1.6 TDI, with which the fuel consumption in the mixed cycle will be 3.8 l / 100 km) will appear.

In addition to the base additionally available two variants of the suspension – basic sport with a decrease in clearance of 15 mm and S-line with a decrease of 25 mm.

All-wheel drive versions A3 with multi-disk electro-hydraulic coupling appeared during 2012.

The novelty of 2016 is the version of the hatchback with a rechargeable hybrid.

Regarding the Premium Sedan version, this car is equipped with a 4-cylinder turbocharged engine with 170 hp, which is typically used by Volkswagen cars. The only available transmission is a 6-speed automated mechanical transmission.

Audi A5

Audi A5 – sports car (two-door coupe on the Audi A4platform), produced by the German automaker Audi since 2007 at the factory in Ingolstadt. Audi A5 was simultaneously presented at the Geneva Motor Show and the Melbourne International Auto Show on March 6, 2007. The manufacturer positions the model as a Gran Turismo class car, thereby declaring it as a competitor to the BMW E92 (BMW 3-Series Coupe) and Mercedes-Benz CLK-class (now manufactured as Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe).

First generation

Audi A5 – version of the 4th generation Audi A4 (B8) in the back compartment. The exit of the A5 marked the return of Audi to the mid-size coupe market, on which Audi was introduced before 1996 by the Audi Coupe (B3 / B4) car based on the Audi 80. Audi A4 (B6 / B7) was released in the convertible body, but not the coupe. Because of the release of the Audi A5, A4, the B8 generation, in the back of the convertible, was no longer presented.

Audi A5 debuted on the new platform Audi MLP (Modular Longitudinal Platform), which was planned as the basis for the next generation Audi A4, A6 and A8. The platform is remarkable in that it leaves the “overhung” position of the engine installation in front of the front axle, now the engine is located behind it, this is done to achieve a more even weight distribution (52:48) [2] between the front and rear axles.

Audi A5 – the third coupe in the Audi range, along with the second generation TT and R8. A5 borrowed a number of elements from the concept Nuvolari quattro. The A5 debuted with a 3.2-liter FSI V6 engine, rated at 265 hp. (195 kW).

The specifications for the Audi A5 range include:

  • Audi valvelift system in the engine 3.2 FSI (variable valve valve mechanism, similar to BMW-Valvetronic);
  • MMI – Multimedia information system;
  • All-wheel drive quattro;
  • LED stripes, for daytime traffic, xenon headlights;
  • Xenon headlights on the V6 and S5 models are standard, in Austria and Switzerland in all configurations;
  • Audio Bang & Olufsen and others.

Audi A5 Cabriolet

Audi A5 Cabriolet

Audi A5 Cabriolet

Release Audi A5 in the body of the convertible started from March 2009. Audi confirmed that the car will have a soft roof, unlike a solid, metal like the BMW E92. The price is from 41.000 euros.

Audi S5

Audi S5 was introduced to the public at the same time as the A5. The car has a 4.2-liter V8 FSI engine, rated at 354 hp. (260 kW) at 6800 rpm and a torque of 440 N · m at 3500 rpm.

The transmission on the S5 is represented by a 6-speed manual gearbox, which corresponds to the tradition of sports cars, as well as a 6-speed automatic Tiptronic series, the use of which allows to reduce both fuel consumption by 2 l / 100 km and to reduce the share of carbon dioxide in Exhaust gas, which is essential for a Western European buyer.

External design: S5 from A5 differs more “aggressive” frontal part – the bumper, radiator grilles, wings, side mirrors have an aluminum color. Behind the S5 are two pairs of exhaust pipes.

Like most Audi S and RS models, including LED stripes, for daytime traffic, surrounding xenon lamps (although on the Audi A5 they are supplied as an option). Also Audi S5 as standard comes with 18-inch alloy wheels (different designs), with large brake discs. Sport heated leather seats and other technical aids, some of which are available as an option on the standard A5 series.

Price in standard version from 56.900 euros (early 2009). The model is expected to be updated in the autumn of 2009.

Audi S5 Cabriolet

The release of a more sporty cabriolet modification – the Audi S5 was initially planned for the 3rd quarter of 2009, but appeared on the market earlier – in May 2009. Instead of a six-cylinder engine with a 195 kW / 265 horsepower rating on the A5, the S5 starts with 3 -liter Kompressor-V6 engine. The direct injection system brings its power up to 245 kV / 333 hp and gives a torque of 440 N · m. This is enough to accelerate the cab from zero to 100 km / h in 5.6 seconds. The maximum speed is electronically limited to 250 km / h, but the power would be enough for more. The price is from 61 400 euros.

Audi RS 5

Audi RS 5

Audi RS 5

The sports coupe RS 5 is the top of the Audi A5 family. The first generation was equipped with a 4.2-liter V8 engine, which produced 450 hp. and accelerated the car to 100 km / h in 4.5 seconds. The car is completed with 7-step automatic transmission S-tronic. For RS5, the Audi Sport GmbH division has specifically developed a body kit that includes modified front and rear bumpers, extended wings, a spoiler, and dual exhaust pipes.

The second generation RS5 was presented at the Geneva Motor Show in 2017. The car received a 3-liter turbocharged V6 with a capacity of 450 hp. The car can accelerate to 100 kilometers per hour in just 3.9 seconds.

Audi A5 Sportback

From the “normal”, the A5 Sportback features additional two rear doors and an extended wheelbase.

Audi 100, since 1994 is Audi A6, is a family of business-class cars manufactured under the Audi brand, the internal designation is “type C”. The premiere of the Audi 100 took place in 1968, since August 1994 this model range is called A6.

Unlike Audi 80 / A4, where the renaming coincided with the release of the new model, the first A6 was a restyling version of the latest Audi 100.

Today, the Audi A6 is offered in a four-door version with a sedan body and a five-door version of the Avant (station wagon), previously produced also two-door models, coupe and hatchback. The sports version of the A6 is produced under the name Audi S6, and the most powerful version of the A6 is produced under the name RS6, which stands for “RennSport”.

The renaming of the series in the A6 / S6 in 1994 completed the era of success of the Audi 100. The new strategy for identifying the models “Audi A (x)” was replaced. The logic used with the advent of the Audi F103, according to which the Audi models were named according to the engine power in horsepower (from Audi 60 to Audi 90), ceased to be observed already with the release of the C1 platform. In accordance with the new designation, the first Audi A6 was the “restyling” Audi 100 C4, which was released as Audi A6 C4 until 1998.

Audi A6 (C6) PDF Service Repair Manuals

Audi A6 (C6)

In 2005, the C6 sedan received the “Car No. 1 in Europe” award at the Geneva Motor Show. In addition, the Audi A6 was named by readers of the specialized edition of Auto, Motor und Sport the best car of 2005 in its class, and also received the award of the German automobile club ADAC “Yellow Angel 2005”. As a result, sales volumes also increased.

In 2005, the Audi A6 put an end to the 30-year-old Mercedes in business class in the German market. Audi A6 with a small margin ahead of the E-class and BMW 5-Series, rising to the top line in the ranking. In 2006, he strengthened his leading position by further growth in sales. In subsequent years, the Mercedes E-Class became the leader again. Throughout 2005, the Audi A6 was the best-selling business-class model in Europe.

Audi A7 Sportback (body code – 4G) – five-door fastback class Gran Turismo, produced by AUDI AG, on the A6 platform, is positioned in the segment below the Audi A8. Its main competitors are Mercedes-Benz CLS and BMW 6 Gran Coupe. The Federal Motor Transport Office of Germany positions A7 in the upper segment of the middle class. Sports versions are S7 and RS7.

The premiere of this model took place on July 27, 2010 at the Munich Pinakothek of Contemporary Art.

The car is based on the concept Audi Sportback Concept, while its design is much more conservative and focuses on other models of the brand Audi. The same style was continued by the Audi A6 C7, which was launched in 2011. Unlike the body of the saloon car is almost completely borrowed from the concept car. The average drag coefficient Audi A7 is 0.28. The rear spoiler automatically retracts at speeds of 140 km / h. Audi Allroad Quattro

Audi Allroad Quattro (since 2006 is Audi A6 Allroad Quattro) – off-road version of models Audi A6 Avant and Audi A4 Avant (since 2009 Audi A4 Allroad Quattro). This modification differs from the original model with a standard permanent all-wheel drive transmission, air suspension, a large ground clearance, as well as enlarged and protected front and rear wings. The height of the ground clearance can be adjusted in four stages, in the range from 142 mm to 206 mm. As the speed increases, the ride height automatically decreases, to reduce air resistance and the stability of the car as a whole.

The first generation Allroad Quattro has a custom option in the form of a reduction gear. Prices for models of this series in Germany for February 2010 started from € 51,300 (diesel) and € 54600 (gasoline engine).

Audi Q3

Audi Q3 – crossover from the German automaker of premium-class from Ingolstadt. Technically, the Audi Q3 aggregate base is a combination of the “Golf” -platform PQ35 and the more extended platform PQ46, on which, for example, the Volkswagen Passat or Skoda Superb is built. Thanks to this combination, it was possible to achieve an almost ideal weighting along the axes – 58:42.

Power 2.0-liter petrol units (EA888 gen 2 – 170 and 211-strong) and diesel engines (140 and 177-strong) are equipped with Quattro all-wheel drive transmission based on Haldex 4th generation clutch (from the fall of 2014 on the 5th generation). The distribution of torque corresponds to 95: 5 with the possibility of redistribution to 50:50. Since 2013, the basic version of Q3 with a 1.4-liter 150-horsepower gasoline engine has a front-wheel drive. Diesel 2.0-liter engines were installed on the front-wheel drive version of the crossover until 2013.

In addition to the mechanical box, the car is equipped with a 7-speed robotic s-tronic gearbox (DQ500, capable of withstanding a torque of up to 600 N · m).

In 2014 the restyling of the model was carried out. As a result, the car received an updated design of the front bumper with a grille, as well as a new rear bumper. In the new head optics now integrated fog lights. The rear diode lights also received a new design (on the RS version the direction indicators turned dynamic). The generation of petrol 1,4- and 2,0-liter units has also been replaced. It is worth noting that the new 1.4-liter engine capacity of 150 liters. from. can switch off two cylinders to save fuel. The new 2.0-liter engine (EA888 gen 3) has two modifications – 180 hp. from. and 220 liters. from. Changed and settings of the robotic box, there were new options, a number of other settings and changes were made. The course stability can now be turned off completely.

Audi RS Q3

In April 2012, the company showed the first photos of a charged version of the crossover, called the Audi RS Q3. A little later, at the Auto Show in Beijing, the model was introduced to the public. According to Audi, the crossover has a 2.5-liter turbocharged engine, giving out 360 liters. with., reaches a maximum speed of 265 km / h and accelerates in 5.2 seconds to 100 km / h.
